Five days later, he is visited by Ryuk, a shinigami, and the owner of the Death Note. He told Light he dropped the Death Note in the Human World out of boredom and that he can keep using it.
However, the number of deaths started to catch the eye of the authorities, who deduced that there’s a killer that kills criminals on the loose. In order to apprehend the killer they asked for the help of the most famous detective in the world, a young man that goes with the name of L.
